Signing ceremony for cooperation agreements between Hanoi University of Pharmacy, Vietnam, and Pusan National University, Korea (08/05/2022)

On the morning of May 6th, 2022, the delegation of Pusan ​​National University, Korea led by Prof. Dr. Yi, Moon-Suk, Dean of International Relations of Pusan ​​National University paid a visit and signed a cooperation agreement with Hanoi University of Pharmacy.

Pusan ​​National University is one of the top-ranked universities in Korea for research and higher education, providing educational opportunities in almost all fields of Health, Biotechnology Science, Materials Science, and Chemistry….and contributing to meeting the needs of high-quality education for domestic and foreign partners.

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam, Rector of Hanoi University of Pharmacy has agreed on some prioritized orientations for cooperation in the coming period:

(i) Cooperation in training and scientific research;

(ii) Student exchange program: The undergraduate exchange program of HUP is prioritized, with the accreditation equivalence of 1-2 semesters at Pusan National University, Korea;

(iii) Lecturer exchange program: encourage lecturers of both sides to participate in teaching and co-research to publish articles;

(iv) Coordinate in providing information and supporting HUP students to participate in interviews and apply for graduate scholarship programs of the Korean Government and Pusan National​​University.

A cooperation agreement on training, scientific research, and student/teacher exchange programme between the two universities was signed under the witnessed by the head of all related departments of each university.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Yi, Moon-Suk thanked the Hanoi University of Pharmacy for the warm welcome and hoped that the cooperation between both sides in Training and Scientific Research would be enhanced in the future.
