Welcoming Nihon University of Pharmacy, Japan

In the morning of September 23rd,
2019, the delegation of Nihon University of Pharmacy, Japan, led by Prof. Dr.
Minoru Tsuzuki - Vice President, paid a working visit to Hanoi University of
Pharmacy.
Nihon University of Pharmacy,
Japan, belonging to Tsuzuki Education Group, has a kindergarten-to-university
educational system, and practice establishment in companies specializing in
research on Kampo, traditional Japanese medicines. The University has 2 majors,
Health Business - Pharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical Science with a total of
nearly 1700 students per year. After visiting the laboratory of the National
Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and the campus, the delegation had a
meeting with representatives of Hanoi University of Pharmacy and related
departments.
At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr.
Dinh Thi Thanh Hai - Vice Rector of University of Pharmacy agreed with several
cooperation orientations orientations of cooperation in the coming period as
follows: (1) Cooperation on training: Deploying the exchange programs for
lecturers and students for short-term course or postgraduate course on fields
of mutual interest. It is expected that this program will begin soon, in July
2020. (2) Regarding scientific research: prior direction will be considered and
exchanged directly between research groups of the two universities, especially
in the field of traditional pharmacy and medicine in both Vietnam and Japan.
After that, the signing
ceremony of Cooperation Agreement between both sides in cooperation in
training, scientific research and exchange programs of lecturers and students
has taken place.
At the end of the meeting,
Prof.Dr. Minoru Tsuzuki thanked for the warm welcome from Hanoi University of
Pharmacy and hoped that the cooperation between the two universities in
training and scientific research would be strengthened in the coming period.
