Hanoi University of Pharmacy celebrated the 66th anniversary of 'Day for Martyrs and Invalid Soldiers'

Toward the 66th anniversary of Martyrs and Invalids Day (27-7-1947 - 27-7-2013), in the morning of 26th July, the university' leaders held a cordial meeting and presented gifts to the university staffs who were the children of martyrs, invalids soldiers or the soldiers infected with toxic chemicals.
Attending the meeting were Assoc. Prof., Thai Nguyen Hung Thu, Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof., Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee - Vice Rector, the representative of the Trade Union Committee, the Heads of Departments, Divisions as well as the above mentioned staffs. This activity organized annually by the university's Directorate Board and the Party Committee in remembrance of those who devoted their lives for our country aimed at expressing deep gratitude to the heroes who have sacrificed their blood and lives for our nation's independence and freedom. It is also a chance to promote the young generation’s awareness on heroic tradition, to encourage the university' staffs to be active in taking better care of those credited with service to the country and the families under preferential policy.
In his speech at the meeting, Assoc. Prof., Thai Nguyen Hung Thu, Vice-Rector on behalf of the University's leaders gave the best regards to those staffs. He also acknowledged the contributions of these staffs to the university's overall success and would expect them to follow the family tradition contributing to build the university. In this cordial meeting, the university's leader also suggested that the departments and units should create more convenient conditions for these staffs in order to share difficulties in their lives as well as at work. Also, at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Van Ru, on behalf of the staffs under preferential policy in response to the speech thanked to the University's Directorate Board and Party Committee for the cordial meeting, the gifts and would like the university's leaders to create convenient working condition for them to fulfill their assigned tasks and duties.
