Under the framework of the Access to high quality herbal medicines in Vietnam projects, The Final Workshop on “Harmonization of the Standard and Quality of Herbal Medicines” was held at Hanoi University of Pharmacy on May 7th, 2018. The workshop was attended by 46 participants from GIZ, TICA and international and local universities such as Chulalonkorn University (Thailand), Hanoi University of Pharmacy, University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Thanh Tay University; Representatives from research institutes such as the Institute of Medicinal Materials, National Institute for Drug Quality Control; Representatives from a number of enterprises and hospitals are involved in the field of herbal medicine such as Nam Duoc Joint Stock Company, National Traditional Medicine Hospital ...
During the workshop, there were eight presentations and a lot of comments and discussions on subjects related to the quality of herbal medicines and training related to this field. Presentations by scientists in the fields of research, training, business and pharmaceutical production related to herbs.
The results of the workshop were consistent with the use of the concept related to herbalism, which included access to and use of the WHO concept, how to build monographs, standardized and quality assurance solutions, communication work.
The workshop ended successful.
