Newton Institutional Links aims to build UK-partner country research and innovation collaborations centred on shared research and innovation challenges which have direct relevance to social welfare and economic development. These grants are funded under the Newton Fund, a UK Government initiative funded by the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), together with partner funders from around the world.
- Size of grant: £50,000 - £150,000
- Priority areas: (i) Future cities, (ii) Digital, innovation and creativity, and (iii) Agriculture
- Duration of grants: up to 24 months
- ODA requirement: relevance to economic development or social welfare

Kanazawa University is glad to inform you that program A, C, and E has been accepted for JASSO scholarship for 2018-19.
However, not all participants receive the scholarship because the number of students granted is limited. Scholarship receipients will be decided under the selection process and let you know with the selection result.
If you are interested in KU exchange programs starting in the Autumn Semester 2018-19, please send the application materials by February 28, 2018.
